Your enemy comes with accusation!

Monday: Understand Your Enemy as an ACCUSER!

In scripture we learn many things about our enemy.
He is like a lion that looks for someone to devour {1 Peter 5:8}.
He is the father of lies {John8:44}.
He also at times masquerades like the light {2 Corinthians11:14}.
He is the accuser of brethren {Revelation 12:10}.

Basically, he is an IMITATOR of the light, the lion and a father. His accusing spirit often allows him to sneak into our pain like the “comforter” making us believe that our rejection or anger are justified and instead of moving us through a season of pain, the enemy makes pain {rejection, bitterness, insecurity} our lifestyle.  Does this sound familiar? For this week, we want to focus on the enemy as the accuser. This is the key to the Courts of Heaven.{See Yesterday if you missed the foundation to the Courts of Heaven.} The word for accuser in Greek means PROSECUTOR. He is basically like a lawyer making legal arguments against you. The closer you get to your position of authority and unlocking your destiny, he will begin to build cases in the Courts of Heaven against you to deny your inheritance.
We will learn what helps him build a case against us through biblical examples. We will also learn how to nullify his accusations.

And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ. For the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, he who accuses them day and night before our God. They have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; and they did not love their lives so as to shy away from death.… Revelation 12:10-11

He doesn’t come simply to accuse you, but day and night he is seeking to lay accusation down against you. When you believe you are being falsely accused or being withheld from promises of God or having an area of your life constantly attacked it is most likely the ACCUSER.

Today, journal any areas that you feel you are being falsely accused. Is there injustice in your life? Are there any promises that you believe were from God that you are yet to see come to pass? Perhaps you have given up on some of those promises? Journal also any areas that are constantly attacked {Finances, health, relationships, faith, career etc...}. For now, simply ask the Holy Spirit to show you these areas. We are making list this week so that as we learn the protocol to our Righteous Judge, we have a case to take to the Courts.

Be encourage that you are getting truth and the truth sets us free!

In His Grip,
