A 21 Day Dare Seeking the Eternal Husband

At the request of some of my fellow sojourners, I will be spending the next 21 Days guiding you on a spiritual journey in hopes that it stirs you to move closer to your Eternal Husband believing that CHANGING OUR PROXIMITY CHANGES OUR IDENTITY.  If we want our identity to become the BELOVED, DAUGHTER, BRIDE, we must decide to move closer. Only the passionate pursuers wore these labels, not those that chose to walk comfortably in the crowd.  So we choose to break through and press in and take hold of what was reserved for those that truly walked the word, when you seek with your whole heart, I will be found.( Jeremiah 29:13 )It is said it takes 21 days to create a habit, so my hope is that over the next 21 days you begin to develop a lifetime habit of SEEKING!

Dear His Beloved,

I find you here because it is your time. It is your time! Before you move forward, allow this truth to get into your soul....it is your time! No more "if" and "when" statements.....the time is now! When the kids are gone, they will have missed the example of a mother who fiercely loved Jesus. When the money is there, you will be deceived that you do not need this. If you wait until you have the time it most assuredly will never happen. If your marriage was stronger will happen as a result of and not before you clear off the table and say, "Now! This is my time!"

I dare to say that what separates those that find the life promised and those that miss it comes down to one word….PASSION.  Would anyone deny the longing? While there have been times that we couldn't name the longing, we did recognize that it was within the depths of our soul….a longing for something more! If you are like me, the longing for something more led you to open wide your hand horizontally to things or positions or people that might tap into that place that urged you to seek. We have all looked to men or motherhood or status or career to satiate this deep longing, and while we have experienced moments of happiness, even great moments, if we are honest nothing truly satisfied us or was lasting, right?

I won’t ice this over like it will be easy or a pathway filled with roses, but I can promise you this ...it will be worth it. The calling to find our life....a LIFE WE LOVE...calls us first to DIE.

For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.
— Matthew 16:25

Some toxic theology needs to die. "Comfortable Christianity" needs to die. The American Gospel needs to die. A worldly identity needs to die. A life of fear needs to die. Misdirected expectations need to die. Some toxic thinking needs to die. Some motives need to die. Some selfish ambition needs to die. The past needs to die. The girl we use to be needs to die.
Can we pull off the mask together and just get real that some things in our lives need to die?

Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.
— John 12:24

In dying, we begin to find Truth and life and Jesus said, " I have come to give you life in the full."

How does it sound to have life that is full? He didn't say, "I come to give you life that is..... weary or burdened or troubled or oppressed or barely surviving." Jesus said FULL.  The challenge is that we have measured fullness by a culture or version of the American gospel that has not even a remnant left of Jesus. Does our vision of what is full need to die also? Yes!

The good news is that Jesus promised that those willing to die will not only find their lives, but their lives would then begin to multiply. Your life becomes prolific. You become alive. You finally find that you can be satisfied even with less, because it is not things that satisfy a longing soul but one thing and His name is Jesus.

Today, the calling is to commit the time! Will you commit to seeking? And if you commit to seeking, I will commit to sharing what I have found that led me to becoming the Beloved.

First: Create a place you will meet with Him. A closet, a chair, a room, your back porch, your garden or any space that allows you to get away from distractions.  If we are seeking the Eternal Husband, we should treat this like a courting experience, right? Do you remember how eagerly you aligned your calendar to make those first dates with your first love? May we come to Him with even more excitement and anticipation expecting the love of God to invade our souls!

Second: There is protocol to the inner chambers I have heard it said. Enter the gate with thanks and into the courts with praise (Psalm 100). I believe the inner chambers are for those with great passion....the Esthers! Know that it is available for all that seek it!

Prayer:
Father,

Hallowed be Your name! I thank you that I can come before Your throne of Grace and sit in Your Holy Presence not as a servant but as a bride. I thank You for Your unfailing love for me. I thank You that I am growing in deeper revelation of that love. I praise You for You are so worthy to be praised. I praise You because You are my Perfect Father, my Healer, my Provider, my Help, and the Great Love I have so longed for.  I come before You today asking for wisdom. Your Word says that you give generously and abundantly without finding fault to those who ask in faith for wisdom. I am asking Father for wisdom in the name of Jesus. Impart a revelation of Your Word. Give me recall of Your Truth. Give me wisdom to discern what is of You and what is of the master imitator. Give me ears to hear the directions I should walk in. Give me eyes to see as You see. Give me a heart after Yours like David, Father.  In the name of Jesus, I ask for a holy hunger that urges me to seek You with more passion every day.
Speak Father, Your Beloved is listening.

(Journal what the Holy Spirit speaks)

Third:
Meditate and begin to Memorize His truth getting it into Your Soul and Awakening Your Spirit:

Psalm 63

You, God, are my God,
    earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
    where there is no water.

2 I have seen you in the sanctuary
and beheld your power and your glory.
3 Because your love is better than life,
    my lips will glorify you.
4 I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.
5 I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods;
with singing lips my mouth will praise you.

I am praying for the Love of God to overwhelm you today!!!

Let your words you speak align to His truth....

I am the Beloved. I am the Beloved. I am the Beloved!

In His Grip,

Ro
