Cleanse our hearts Father of anything that keeps us from looking like you!

My intent was to send a video today sharing all that God is showing me for the next few months as we bring this "soaking" season to an end, however, I have struggled with my voice. Go figure! So I will share just a little here, until my voice returns....and it will!

I was given a Word that was confirmed several times last summer that I was to  release women in freedom. One woman saw me with my arms open wide and a fleet of butterflies being released. A man saw me walking among gold cages and opening doors and butterflies coming out. As I have been seeking the past few weeks, I was led back to these images. The butterfly is significant to me, because it is the word that the Father calls me. It is my name, His Butterfly. My heart passion is to release women from captivity and bondage not simply to release them, but to release them into DESTINY.

In Deuteronomy 6, Moses gives instruction to the people of Israel about abiding and surviving in the promise land. 1. He told them they must love God above all things. 2.)They must not make any idols before God. 3.) They were to embed the next generation with the truths of God's wonders and His word. And then in verse 23, Moses say,

God brought you out to bring you in.

He didn't simply free them from slavery like they wanted. He freed them from Egypt to take them into what He desired for them. Too often we want out, but have no desire to step in. The people wanted out of Egypt and because they never fully stepped into the Promises of God, they ended right back into captivity. We must want more than freedom, or else we will end up back in the same bondage or a new one.

So what does this have to do with butterflies you may ask? I believe the butterfly is a beautiful picture of us. We may feel like a caterpillar just inching by life. We have questions and longings to be something more. Is this all there is? Will it always feel like I am just getting by? I long to be beautiful and full of purpose and life. And then He draws us into a cocoon. Some of us want the butterfly without the cocoon, so we strive to build our own wings. Others will get to the cocoon, but before they are in too long they want out. Released too early, they may look like a butterfly. They may have the markings of a butterfly, but because the process God started was never finished you have a grounded butterfly. Created to fly, they walk. They never live out what God had fully purposed them to do, and despite the external beauty they have the mindset of a caterpillar. And then there are the few that seek the cocoon. They find rest here. They surrender to the process and enter into metamorphosis.{The narrow path that few find....Matthew 7:14.}

Metamorphosis: a change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one, by natural or supernatural means.

And when these few are released, they fly just as they were created.

So my heart is to help free you to release you into what God has for you. I want to remind you that it isn't always about what we are doing, but who we are becoming. In Romans 12:2 we read:

Be not conformed to This World, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

The word for transformed is metamorphoó...it is like the changing of a caterpillar into a butterfly. I believe Esther is a picture for us of a mindset change. She went into the palace an orphan in her spirit. Her soaking was much like a cocoon. She had to transform her thinking and her identity to step into her destiny.

I believe this season will end with a change of identity. Women will take their rightful place as heirs. They will take their rightful place in understanding of their value. They will take their rightful place as carriers of the Kingdom, and they will understand the power of their voice to shape nations. I believe also the change will not only be internal but visible.

After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light.

When Jesus went up the mountain and transfigured before Peter, James and John, the word used there for transfigured is the same metamorphoo. For a moment, what was on the inside of Jesus became visible. The glory of the Lord was upon Him. I believe the change in you will be visible.

So I am speaking with expectation that God is releasing women into Destiny. The women that get to the cocoon and are still with Him will experience an identity shift that is visible.

He also showed me that this process of freedom, intimacy and destiny. You see if you know your destiny and start living it out with out freedom or intimacy, you will never sustain it. Without freedom, your wounds will eventually cause offense or rejection and you will sabotage your own destiny. Without intimacy, we live our destiny from striving rather than compelled by love. However, when we seek freedom {purify our hearts and release wounds, vows, judgements} we then organically connect more deeply with the Father. Intimacy is hindered by a wounded soul. As we purify, we remove the things that hinder us from the awareness of God's love that is fully available. We strengthen connections with the Father, son and Holy Spirit. Each of these offer a facet of God available and none of them can afford to be disconnected. From this place of intimacy, destiny is birthed out of love not need to be loved. Here destiny is sustainable.

So we continue to purify this month. In February we get into that cocoon, and in March we release a fleet of women into Destiny.

As you are seeking to purify your hearts today read these words from Colossians 3. Our culture can deceive us to think that we can create a healthy balance of things in our lives, but the word doesn't say to create a balance, it says put some things to death. Go before the throne of Mercy today and ask for His power to release you from everything He says to put to death!

Colossians 3
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Put to DEATH therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, CLOTHE yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
