Blessing through tear drops.....

Screen Shot 2014-02-27 at 4.02.41 PMIn a moment of distress, I am sure it is hard to convince one that ...... God has a plan. All will work for His good. No weapon will prosper.

When you are in the middle of it, it hurts, doesn't it?

But today as I listened to Laura Story's "Blessings"......

What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near What if my greatest disappointments or the aching of this life Is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can't satisfy

I was overwhelmed with gratitude!

Grateful for the sleepless nights that made His Comfort my reality.

Grateful for the days on knees that led me to find He is My Provider.

Grateful for the diagnosis that introduced me to the Great Physican.

Grateful for the broken heart that led me to the Mender.

Grateful for those that disappointed so that I would learn His voice.

Grateful for the need of Grace so that I could encounter it.

Grateful for the storm that showed me I could stand as long as I was focused on Him.

Grateful for the tears that of loneliness that led me to the One Great Love!

Grateful for the aching of this world that gave me a thirst that this world would never satisfy!

I felt led to stop in my day and share this, because there may just be one that needs to know that.....

We too often pray to prevent pain in our lives, but pain is necessary to walk in an anointed life. A life set apart for sacred use by God.

The broken become the anointed, because it takes breaking for the aroma of His hand on your life to be released. And I believe our lives were meant to release a heavenly fragrance to those who encounter us. There should be something different about you and me, and what you are going through right now might be exactly what it takes to get you there!

Prune us Papa.....may we lose our lives to find it!
